The law of cause and effect is the eternal promise that exists in our world.
We call this promise truth.
I will tell things of the world by this law.
One is the mind that repents
One is the mind that prays
One is the mind that wants to know truth
One is the mind that serves
One is the mind that informs someone the meaning.
It is because my saying is humble
That people now do not know me;
It is because my saying is true
That people of future shall come to know me.
Not trying to enlighten the blind's mind
Is spoiling my virtue;
Awakening the blind's sleep
Is making me lonely.
If you abandon three greeds,
You will be able to bless yourself;
If you earn three good things,
You will be able to bless the world.
The eye with the eyesight of 2.0
Can see all the things
That the eye with the eyesight of 0.2 can see.
But at the same condition
The eye with the eyesight of 0.2
Can not see all the things
That the eye with the eyesight of 2.0 see.
The mind is like this.
In front of a true man
People are not following
And in the clean water
Fish are not playing
For the same reason.
The way that a wrong man teaches
Is just dressing a heard story;
The way of a good man
Is just seeing a daily life.
No peace in the world
Is because of no way;
No happiness in the world
Is because of no virtue.
If your mind is dark
you will lose prudence;
If you seek your way with greed
You will get disaster.
The basis of all kinds of diseases is the mind;
The basis of all kinds of blessings is the body.
If you know virtue, you will fear passion;
If you quit passion, you will know the things of the world.
Even If you live a day
You will have to cherish your life.
Life is connected to the destiny of endless future.
The bright world is in the fair law;
The dark world is in the wrong law.
The mind without good deeds
Is like colorblindness.
Truth always exists.
It is because a man does not have a good mind
That he can not see the fact even in front of him.
The words of the enlightened man are like running water;
The words of the stupid man are like stagnant water.
It can be said that the highest way
Is returning to the very starting point.
When you try to know a fact
You must see a cause first of all.
When you try to see a good thing
You must make a good cause;
When you try to escape a wrong thing
You must not make a problem.
A man who opens his eyes sees the blind;
The blind can not see the man who opens his eyes.
An ignorant man comes to lose himself;
A man who does not make an effort comes to lose the world.
Accordingly as a good meaning is piled up
A bright mind comes into being;
Accordingly as an attachment is piled up
A dark mind comes into being.
You come to see a true mind when you know the things of the world;
You come to see a stupid mind when you have a greed.
People who killed an innocent man
make six million of their descendants sacrifice their lives.
Conscience makes oneself light;
Justice makes the world light.
Advice is like tonic;
Humility is like treasure.
Flattery is like opium;
Arrogance is like poison.
If I did not do what I have to do
It would become my unhappiness;
If I did not keep what I have to keep
It would become the world's unhappiness.
Among what you get from the world
The greatest blessing
Is knowing yourself.
Truth exists in the fact;
Truths are its evidence
An enlightened man does not have affection;
A stupid man does not have right and wrong.
A man who believes in the true way comes to think the fact charishingly;
A man who believes in the evil way does not think the fact charishingly.
The life of a big-hearted man is stingy to himself;
The life of a small-hearted man is stingy to others.
Faith is the belief in truth.
Faith without truth makes the mind sick.
When you awake the world there is conflict;
If you know the way, you see lonely things.
The solitude of the true man is because he knows sin;
The stupid man deserted the true man because he does not know sin.
The harder time
Than when he became the derision of ten thousands of people
Is to deceive a stupid man.
The road of hell is full because their minds are dark;
The road of heaven is solitary because the world is dark.
You come to know the biggest blessings by enlightenment;
The biggest sins come out by ignorance.
When living, a man who bears other's burden
Takes off his own burden after death;
When living, a man who hides his own burden
Adds more burden and bears it after death.
A man who opens his eyes sees the world;
A man who closes his eyes sees illusion.
People do not follow the enlightened man
Because the teaching is only the facts.
The rightous man is born by the meaning of heaven;
The world blooms by the cause and effect.
